Sorry I haven’t been around so much lately.
There’s been the holiday traveling and extra working.
Then there’s the internship researching, working on applications, and getting stuff ready for letters of recommendation.
And I’ve also signed up for a last minute GRE test this Thursday. By last minute, I mean I signed up this past week.
Which means I need to spend every extra minute I have reading the study book and learning as much as I can in a few days.
But I quickly wanted to give you a glimpse into my Thanksgiving before it becomes December!
I worked 6 am-2:00 that day (got off early – yay!)
Enjoyed my Thanksgiving meal #1 (lunch at work):
BEST SWEET POTATOES EVER. They were so good.
This is how I got through the afternoon during a 2+ hour drive after my 8 hour shift:
Iced coffee. Diet coke. And an apple that I didn’t eat. Probably would have been the healthiest source of energy of the 3.
Siblings reunited for the first time in over 3 months!
It takes my family approximately 22 minutes to get settled for a picture.
I enjoyed leftovers for
days 2 days.
My “day-after-Thanksgiving-diet” consisted of:
- Candied sweet potatoes
- Cranberry sauce
- More Pie
- Ice cream
- More pie
- Pumpkin whoopie pie
- Frozen yogurt
And now I’m back at school and trying to clean up my eating before I head home for Christmas and do it all over again
Now I must go and read up on my integers, diving fractions, and multiplying exponents! All those wonderful thing I haven’t thought about in like 8 years.
PS: The winner of the shake & bake giveaway has yet to contact me, so Eliza – please email me!! If I don’t hear from her by this Friday, I’ll pick a new winner!
